Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The Memory Grove Photography by Daniel Song

Sponsorships

Q: How can I sponsor local athletes through The Memory Grove?
A: Sponsorships directly support our community’s Taekwondo athletes as they train, compete, and represent our region on state, national, and even Olympic stages. To learn more about becoming a sponsor or to pledge your support, please visit the Sponsor Local Athletes section of our site or contact us directly via the Contact Page. Sponsorships can be personal or business-driven, and all proceeds go toward athlete training, travel, and competition expenses.

Booking a Session

Q: How do I book a session with The Memory Grove?
A: Booking is simple:

  1. Visit thememorygrove.net.

  2. Scroll down to the Booking section and select your package.

  3. Complete the initial contact form.

From there, your photographer will call you to discuss your vision. During this complimentary 30-minute consultation, you’ll share your ideas, inspiration, and goals for the shoot while we refine a creative plan together.

After your consultation, you’ll receive your contract and retainer invoice via email. A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session date and time. Once the retainer is paid, a second invoice for the remaining balance will be sent, which is due no later than the start of your photoshoot.

Once booked, you’ll also receive a Photography License Agreement tailored to your needs:

  • Individuals & Families sign the Personal Use Contract.

  • Businesses & Brands sign the Content License Agreement.

Ordering Premium Prints

Q: How do I order professional, premium-quality prints?
A: Premium prints and custom wall art are exclusively available through your Client Gallery.

To unlock ordering:

  1. Go to the Client Gallery tab on thememorygrove.net.

  2. Create your account.

  3. Pay a one-time $49.99 membership fee. Once payment is processed, the custom ordering function will unlock.

For Contracted Clients:
If you’ve booked a session under our Photography License Agreement, you’ll receive a membership discount code that waives this fee. This ensures full access to your private gallery and premium ordering at no extra cost.

Contracts & Licensing

Q: What’s the difference between the Personal Use and Business-to-Business contracts?

  • Personal Use Photography License Agreement

    • Designed for families, individuals, and personal sessions.

    • Covers personal printing, organic social media, and limited promotional use.

    • Membership to the Client Lounge is free with a signed contract.

    • Photos are delivered digitally and can be used for framed prints, personal social posts, or personal branding.

    • Resale and commercial redistribution are prohibited.

  • Business-to-Business Content License Agreement

    • Designed for companies, brands, and professional campaigns.

    • Covers organic and paid advertising, editorial use, internal displays, and limited marketing distribution.

    • Includes stricter rules on modification, attribution, and third-party vendor access.

    • Fees are structured with licensing terms, renewals, and higher liquidated damages for unauthorized use.

    • Archival rights allow businesses to keep organic posts online after the license term ends, but new usage requires renewal.

In summary:
